Volunteer Policy
Knights Volunteer Policy:
Calgary Knights Lacrosse Association is a club which is operated solely by volunteers.
To ensure that all aspects of the organization are managed efficiently,
every member is asked to contribute to the club via volunteering.
Volunteer requirements are calculated on a points system. Each Knights family is required to complete 300 points per player to a max of 600 points per family.
50 points is equivalent to 1 hour of volunteering. 6 hours of volunteer time (300 points) is mandatory for each player to a max of 12 hours (600 points) per family.
A volunteer bond form must be signed for $200 per player (max of 2 bonds per family). Registration is not considered complete until the bond form has been received. If a family chooses not to participate or is unable to volunteer they can submit a $200 'non-volunteer' payment by cheque dated for the current date or pay cash at the first evaluation floor time. If you do not complete your volunteer requirements you will be charged a $200 'non-volunteer' fee at the end of the season.
